Gösta Pettersson hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Menofta's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Tanek Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes Menofta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Tanek Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Menofta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After 14 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Brudzisz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tanek Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Menofta's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Tanek Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Menofta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Brudzisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Brudzisz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menofta's goalkeeper Tanek Brudzisz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balazs Lajos in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Brudzisz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Menofta getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Viklund to make the kick off. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Brudzisz. Tanek Brudzisz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Szekeres Tamas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Tanek Brudzisz managed to make a qualified save. Menofta's players were relieved. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Brudzisz having to interfere. Mieszko Puzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 75th minute of the match. Patrick Klack hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Antal Valentin from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Tanek Brudzisz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cafu Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menofta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Lars Viklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Lars Viklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
