Leandro Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Bernat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bertram Svenningsen scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Bernat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Bertram Svenningsen made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Bernat. Coyotes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Genaro Veronica hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Cordera in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Mariano Satordi with Luciano Pancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Luciano Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Luciano Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th match minute, Coyotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Baleren to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cordera in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Coyotes booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pancho in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. After 78 minutes of play, Coyotes's Maximino Cordera made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Baleren in the 86th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 92nd minute of play. The Coyotes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
