Evaristo Mendialdura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Labora in the 14th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Kaxen Louzara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Made in Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martxelin Beilzo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Evaristo Mendialdura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Made in Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Mendialdura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Lopez Nieto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Made in Paraguay's protests and gave Iztal Autran a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nahia Gago helped the player get up and apologised. Chris Nygaard in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Best Wall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Mendialdura in the 90th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Iztal Autran with Jacob Sagasti as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee blew the final whistle, Made in Paraguay could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
