Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Serrizuela's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Belgium's Lenny Clocheret managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robustiano Dunixi in the 9 minute of the game. If Pepo De Simone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 22nd minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Jacinto Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Nicholas. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olds School Pepo's Luis Gumaro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luis Gumaro made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Pagomari however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Nicholas saved Olds School Pepo from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 45th minute, Orlando Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Nicholas came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sander Dermaut hit a great ball. 68 minutes in the game, Pepo De Simone fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Casper Claes having to interfere. The supporters of Belgium booed when Olds School Pepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yves Dervaux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Nicholas was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 87th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Nicholas. Olds School Pepo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belgium fully deserved thier win.
