Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Bertran started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Lorenzo Bertran got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Casimiro Cordarell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Remy Dupuy fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Remy Dupuy a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Remy Dupuy. In the 18th minute of the match Nippur de Lagash 2 got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Oliviero ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Sixto Ariando heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Sixto Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Robert Chapuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Israel Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Oliviero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camille Baume in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Bertran's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Lorenzo Bertran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Bertran slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes, Andres Mateus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nippur de Lagash 2 and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Nippur de Lagash 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 39th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Cordarell. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Andres Mateus. Marcelino Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Tito Chayo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Andres Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Andres Mateus got a free kick in the 68th minute. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Nippur de Lagash 2 from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Sixto Ariando got a free kick in the 75th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Oliviero in the 78th minute of play. Tito Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Oliviero went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Israel Oliviero hit a great ball. Tito Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Barbier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tito Chayo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by France's David Barbier. But to his dismay, David Barbier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nippur de Lagash 2 could leave the field as winners, despite France having more of the ball for most of the match.
