Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktuğ Tuğkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Göktuğ Tuğkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göktuğ Tuğkun in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Göktuğ Tuğkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Göktuğ Tuğkun sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Göktuğ Tuğkun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özkan Özinan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Göktuğ Tuğkun made the kick off in the second half. Luís Nani charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Nani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Özkan Özinan got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Göktuğ Tuğkun came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özkan Özinan came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. But to his dismay, Daniel Pimentel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. If Göktuğ Tuğkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Hızır Açıkgün was substituted for Göktuğ Tuğkun. In the 78th minute, Hızır Açıkgün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özkan Özinan made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Almeida made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Sérgio Ramos. After 87 minutes, Hızır Açıkgün made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Faustino Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Faustino Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. After a defensive mix-up in ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s zone, Felipinho Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özkan Özinan came out of the goal and Felipinho Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
