Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alan Said got the match started through his kick off. Jay Jowsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Jay Jowsey in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergen Sergen in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of play. Jay Jowsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Eliseo Cutri with Gianpaolo Mascari as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Sergen Sergen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Jay Jowsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jay Jowsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Adrian Grech threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergen Sergen in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Sergen Sergen came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godwin Sapiano who took care of the corner kick. In the 31st minute Gianpaolo Mascari collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Adrian Grech charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Grech the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Adrian Grech hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Jay Jowsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergen Sergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Sergen Sergen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Jay Jowsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Grech hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 44th minute of play. Neville Ciscaldi kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Attard Gunners were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Attard Gunners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
