He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rovine Craiova reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manole Frunză in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rovine Craiova's Alexandru Tudorică was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Vârjean. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Rovine Craiova were awarded a corner. Alexandru Tudorică went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcu Vârjean kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Frunză to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Manole Frunză's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Negara. Rovine Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 69 minutes Rovine Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Takacs Tibor to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Negara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. One of Hungary:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rovine Craiova:s goal. The referee gave Rovine Craiova a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shen Xi Bang, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. 3-3. In the 95th minute of the match Rovine Craiova got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexandru Tudorică ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manole Frunză took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Rovine Craiova were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
