Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Lemel SV were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Caniggia took the corner. After 9 minutes, Manfred Konradsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Yves Dervaux. Yves Dervaux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, George Wiklund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute, Manfred Konradsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemel SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's Manfred Konradsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Caniggia made a great header on Lemel SV's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper George Wiklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for George Wiklund to make any attempt to save it. Lemel SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten scored to the left of an out of position George Wiklund, making the score, 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Wiklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lemel SV's George Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Sabbe in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, Lemel SV's Manfred Konradsson made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Manfred Konradsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Konradsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Furlit. George Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 82nd minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Wiklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. The Belgium fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
