Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Gomesano in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BLACK LIONS's Justo Musko. Justo Musko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Musko having to interfere. Isaias Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Justo Musko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BLACK LIONS's goalkeeper Justo Musko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cebo Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Iratxo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Justo Musko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Justo Musko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. BLACK LIONS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isaias Iratxo in the 42nd minute. Isaias Iratxo made a great header on BLACK LIONS's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Cebo Ponte might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cebo Ponte ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Meesters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Musko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Musko. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Musko. That made the score 2-4 after 69 minutes of play. BLACK LIONS's Justo Musko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cebo Ponte in the 75th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Cebo Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cebo Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes scored 2-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Musko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Justo Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BLACK LIONS's Justo Musko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save BLACK LIONS from getting a goal against them. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 97th minute.
