If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Negara made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a good shot on target. Gustaw Rasialdo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer led 16 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Jyrki Saarelainen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Victor Negara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaw Rasialdo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Xi Bang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Negara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 34th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Negara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Negara, 2-0. Manole Frunză struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rovine Craiova. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Xi Bang in the 43rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Tudorică, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Rovine Craiova's Oscar Caballero got a free kick in the 47th minute. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Rovine Craiova from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Frunză to make the kick off. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Jyrki Saarelainen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Negara having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Xi Bang in the 57th minute of the match. Victor Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Negara. Rovine Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Manole Frunză could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Xi Bang, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Manole Frunză tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Negara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Nicolae Negrilă kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Frunză could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Shen Xi Bang in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's Gust Ennemans. Manole Frunză received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Manole Frunză slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
