Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Carpathians's Stefan Dobay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Carpathians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Feteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Rasvan Cristescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Cazimir Feteanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathians and the Romania players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carpathians's Cazimir Feteanu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Nichitelea in the 11th minute of play. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanda Cutov in the 22nd minute of the match. Sanda Cutov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Matei Răducu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stefan Dobay came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Carpathians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Dobay couldn't finish the play. Carpathians's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanda Cutov in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanda Cutov in the 30th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Carpathians got a corner. Remus Piacente made a great header on Carpathians's corner, it was just that Romania's Carol Stinga managed to reach the ball for a save. Carpathians:s Matei Răducu showed great skill when he stopped Sanda Cutov:s penalty. Matei Răducu had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Sanda Cutov from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Carpathians made a substitution. Ercan Sabahaddin replaced Remus Piacente. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sanda Cutov in the 74th minute. Martin Zafiu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Matei Răducu.
