Valentin Alexandrescu made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rareș Papadima. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Silviu Bogătan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Bertram Svenningsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silviu Bogătan. The goal made the score 1-0. Tudor Bodea made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Valentin Alexandrescu however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Niculae Bărbulescu got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Ghișe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviu Bogătan made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the game, Aurel Huștiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Aurel Huștiu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicorns ™'s goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Valentin Alexandrescu in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Olav Graversen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Silviu Bogătan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Bogătan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Steen in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Bogătan. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 67th minute, Mikkel Wulff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silviu Bogătan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Alexandrescu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Alexandrescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Bogătan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unicorns ™'s Silviu Bogătan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 79th minute of play. Keld Paulsen was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Alex Răduț capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Răduț really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Valentin Alexandrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denmark had played much better football throughout.
