Waldemar Rosen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Imre Hellinger got free with Arnout Reekers in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Ni Guang Yong. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Imre Hellinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Imre Hellinger went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ni Guang Yong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Ni Guang Yong got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastião Andrade hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
