Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Proença to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 8th minute of play forced Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Talento Futebol clube's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel van der Bij came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dagoberto Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Ferreira got free with Tommy Kahn in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's Dagoberto Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Talento Futebol clube were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualter Proença took the corner. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dagoberto Ferreira. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Jean Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Jean Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 38 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. In the 39th minute of the match Gualter Proença shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Maria Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mito Mesías hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Ferreira to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Ferreira came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Perez in the 53rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Perez went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 65th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Ferreira in the 66th minute of play. Michel van der Bij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 69th minute. Michel van der Bij made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Talento Futebol clube's Jean Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Ferreira in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Dagoberto Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Dagoberto Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Talento Futebol clube.
