Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Barral in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Fabricio Andrade threw the ball into play from the sideline. Geovani Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Geovani Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, UD Fuerteventura's Ştefan Negrilă got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 41st minute of the match, Geovani Barral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernardo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 43rd minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Bernardo Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claris Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Bernardo Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. In the 56th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Geovani Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 64th minute, one of UD Fuerteventura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Fuerteventura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 71st minute of play. Allard Ijsselhof made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Basilio Quintero immediately put the ball in play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Vazquez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 90th minute, Bartolomeu Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Vazquez. The goal made the score 2-2. UD Fuerteventura made a substitution. Ismael Munoz replaced Basilio Quintero. In the 95th minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Vazquez. UD Fuerteventura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The UD Fuerteventura supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portugal's performance. The match ended with a win for Portugal.
