Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Metod Mlynar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Fidel Atarrabi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Eutor came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Santiago Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Metod Mlynar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slovakia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 25 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Vít Biskup. In the 28th minute, Fabio Iratzeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enclenques fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Enclenques getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hector Txartiko hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Koleno. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Maximino Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Iratzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Slovakia booed when Enclenques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Eutor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slovakia's attentive Vít Biskup managed to snatch the ball when Paolo Ixaka made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Hector Txartiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 62nd match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metod Mlynar to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Ondrej Biskup. If Fabio Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Filiberto Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrich Slany made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Santiago Eutor sent off a good shot on target. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Enclenques's Fabio Iratzeder in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Henrich Slany was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Slovakia through an amazing save. After 83 minutes, Vít Biskup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the Enclenques players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Vít Biskup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Santiago Eutor tried to sneak it across the goal line.
