Gigih Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Tracto's goalkeeper Gigih Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Beltran. In the 15th minute, Fred de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tracto's Gigih Buffon got control of the ball when Eusebio Beltran tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ronald Koeman fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tracto's protests and gave Ronald Koeman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tracto's Ronald Koeman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Gigih Buffon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 26 minutes into the game, Tracto's Dionisio Quinito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandros Ismael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alin Cristaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águilas Poblanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Cristaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigih Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gigih Buffon made a huge save. After 44 played minutes Tracto got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Dobilas. 46 minutes into the game, Cristian Papo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tracto the free kick. After 46 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Papo. Zdzislaw Dobilas charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdzislaw Dobilas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tracto's Zdzislaw Dobilas got a free kick in the 47th minute. Tracto's José Stevenson was substituted for Dionisio Quinito. Tracto made a substitution. Dante Ogazón replaced Teofilo Karmel. In the 49th minute, Zdzislaw Dobilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Águilas Poblanas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tracto were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when José Stevenson made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th of the match, José Stevenson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alexandros Ismael got in the way and made a wonderful save. It was a well-played corner which Herminio Distiratsu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gigih Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Cristaldo in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Tracto getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sebastian Zâncă hit a great ball. Gigih Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. José Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Stevenson in the 62nd minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alin Cristaldo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigih Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Godofredo Hibai replaced Alin Cristaldo. José Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Stevenson in the 74th minute of the match. Godofredo Hibai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigih Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jacinto Galeno's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Gigih Buffon on his right side and into the goal. 80 minutes into the game it was 2-1. Gigih Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Águilas Poblanas were awarded a corner. Virgilio Txindoki went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Klement Malik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Águilas Poblanas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tracto to leave the ground with a draw.
