After some careless play in the Yucatan F.C. defense, Nuralp Başdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genílson Loyola. The Yucatan F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genílson Loyola should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genílson Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guaberto Jacindo in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yucatan F.C.'s zone, Nuralp Başdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Loyola came out of the goal and Nuralp Başdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, Telo Vaca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yucatan F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muñes de Don Cuco the free kick. After 33 played minutes, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Ramon Pero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Genílson Loyola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Muñes de Don Cuco reached it. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yucatan F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Los Muñes de Don Cuco were awarded a corner. Guaberto Jacindo went to the cornerflag to take it.

Genílson Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rien Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The throw-in from Victor Gartzen in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Bradley Barrett. Rien Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Genílson Loyola made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rien Oss in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th match minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Pero. In the 82nd minute, Cui Chen Feng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Rien Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Genílson Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rien Oss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genílson Loyola having to make a save. Yucatan F.C.'s Genílson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rien Oss in the 90th minute of play. Yucatan F.C.'s Genílson Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Yucatan F.C. from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12.
