The Los Muñes de Don Cuco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Cacomixtles de Queretaro defense, Nuralp Başdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Ugaitz should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafin Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Barrett in the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Viviano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Başdemir in the 26th minute of play forced Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuralp Başdemir might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Ugaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuralp Başdemir ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Başdemir came free, but Serafin Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsnü Hürsel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cacomixtles de Queretaro defense, Nuralp Başdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. Baron Buffon made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Constantino Henrico sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Henrico to make the kick off. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalie prevented a goal. Guaberto Jacindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Roland Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Ramon Pero replaced Peyami Hasanbeyli. If Rien Oss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rien Oss made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 71st minute Rien Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Sefastsson to maneuver through the defense. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Severino Che replaced Hüsnü Hürsel. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Osvaldo Lluis was substituted for Atilano Chorache. The throw-in from Paddy Attenborough in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Aureliano Cordeiro. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Rien Oss scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Ugaitz, making the score, 0-9. Rien Oss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Serafin Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss. But to his dismay, Rien Oss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Rien Oss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Ugaitz having to make a save. Baron Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Los Muñes de Don Cuco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Muñes de Don Cuco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
