Elpidio Amor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Faron's late challenge caught a Timo!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Faron helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Moises Faron got a free kick in the 45th minute. Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Los Andes from getting a goal against them. The Timo! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Los Andes were winning 2-3.

In the 57th minute of the match, Kaj Skager tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Amor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arquímedes Cesario in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tipi Calderon saved Club Atletico Los Andes from getting behind. Tipi Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Karbowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Melquiades Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tipi Calderon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Hurmuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Timo! made a substitution. Tomas Gelacio replaced Arquímedes Cesario. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Lekberg got free with Elpidio Amor in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Inautzi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
