Aquiles Mikolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Ernesto Guevara SyD getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Beto Almada hit a great ball. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Enzo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Crespo in the 18th minute of play. Levente Végh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Rodriguez having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcos Tirso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Mergildo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Cristian Mergildo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso. But to his dismay, Marcos Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Bernat in the 32nd minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Pascual Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Beto Almada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Vaani Gómez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes C.A. LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Pang Xing Lang. 41 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
