Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 12th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Benvenuto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Timo! got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 范崇镇 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ilie Hurmuz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Franco Benvenuto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Salvidor was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Benvenuto in the 30th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Menchu FC's Basarab Jupân quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Telmo Camargo, made in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Roberto Carlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menchu FC's Silverio Sergi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elpidio Amor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ilie Hurmuz sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Timo!'s Alexandr Lunin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Salvidor. Camilo Salvidor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 67th minute Arquímedes Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Hurmuz. Camilo Salvidor stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Benvenuto came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Gaston Firmo replaced Uriel Gorri. Timo!'s Tomas Gelacio was substituted for Arquímedes Cesario. In the 75th minute, Silverio Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdoulay Doucouré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Amor having to interfere. The supporters of Timo! booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Hurmuz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 85th playminute. Gaston Firmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elpidio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izydor Karbowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Timo! had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
