The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Perrucho FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Everardo Francesco hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, C.A. LANUS's Remigio Rozarius threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elvis Crespo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 6th match minute, C.A. LANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Videla to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Norberto Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristian Mergildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perrucho FC's Arturo Iago was substituted for Cosme Tristan. 10 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Blochowiak came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Rozarius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 15th minute. Godofredo Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Florian Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Slütters in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Florian Blochowiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perrucho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. LANUS the free kick. A collision led to Perrucho FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levente Végh got free with Remigio Rozarius in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Blochowiak in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Rozarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adamantios Geronimidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arturo Iago came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Perrucho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Iago couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Perrucho FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Everardo Francesco hit a great ball. Pang Xing Lang took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Rozarius. Remigio Rozarius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Blochowiak to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Blochowiak in the 51st minute of the match. When C.A. LANUS's Levente Végh in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perrucho FC's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Atilano Tonio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perrucho FC's Remigio Rozarius did a great save. 61 minutes into the match, Perrucho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pang Xing Lang came free, but Remigio Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Adamantios Geronimidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Végh in the 64th minute of play. Remigio Rozarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Xing Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Norberto Hori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. LANUS from getting a goal against them. Cristian Mergildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Blochowiak in the 78th minute. Adamantios Geronimidis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Nicasio Jacindo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes C.A. LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Tonio. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. LANUS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norberto Hori was slow to take the kick. During this time Perrucho FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Perrucho FC's Norberto Hori to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristian Mergildo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 94 played minutes Perrucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Millrick. Zheng Chen Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Norberto Hori struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Cristian Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perrucho FC. Perrucho FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
