Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pang Xing Lang in the 7th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adamantios Geronimidis came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, C.A. LANUS's Adamantios Geronimidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Salvidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 20th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Mergildo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Cristian Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adamantios Geronimidis made a kick off. Pang Xing Lang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Camilo Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Adamantios Geronimidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A. LANUS defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Mergildo. The C.A. LANUS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mergildo should have stopped the shot. Menchu FC's Gaston Firmo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. Abdoulay Doucouré's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. LANUS defense, Abdoulay Doucouré kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Mergildo. The C.A. LANUS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mergildo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 79th minute of play forced C.A.
