The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominik Adamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriele Batistuta in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Adamus saved Nina fc from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Adamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Salvidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Macerio in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Gabriele Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Macerio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 53rd minute of play forced Nina fc's goalkeeper Dominik Adamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menchu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
