A well-hit corner resulted in Mao Ao Gang heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Bizen in the 30th minute of play. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Erik Lamela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LosAndes666 booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Benvenuto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Benvenuto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cecilio Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timo!.
