The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orlando Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. Orlando Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Camilo Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Kim Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Andes's zone, Armando Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tipi Calderon came out of the goal and Armando Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomáš Lamačka hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Kim Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal and Kim Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tipi Calderon. Tipi Calderon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Uriel Gorri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tipi Calderon. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tipi Calderon should have stopped the shot. If Kim Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Salvidor. Kim Lekberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 72nd match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Fabio Peli replaced Donald Trump. Menchu FC made a substitution. Arturo Roderigo replaced Peter Söderqwist. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Kaj Skager replaced Kim Lekberg. Kaj Skager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Camilo Salvidor made a huge save. Tipi Calderon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Carlo in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Kaj Skager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Salvidor. Menchu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Skager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Menchu FC made a substitution. Junior Savaş replaced Gabriele Batistuta. When the referee ended the match the Menchu FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
