Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhan Celvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 18th minute of play. Olavo Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceyhan Celvet's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ceyhan Celvet put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Olavo Henriques. After 33 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Uxio. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceyhan Celvet to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ceyhan Celvet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Olavo Henriques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alan Petersen was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Dragón F.C's players had a chance to rest. Alan Petersen's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Petersen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Petersen to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club made a substitution. George Orwel replaced Godofredo Remigio. Ceyhan Celvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Golden Dragón F.C's Xamo Melic was substituted for Alan Petersen. Olavo Henriques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Betzanos in the 73rd minute. In the 80thth minute of the game George Orwel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Betzanos took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Joaquin Uxio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Camerino Luey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camerino Luey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fermin Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Hibai couldn't finish the play. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camerino Luey in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Eriberto Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olavo Henriques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Dragón F.C reached it. When the final whistle sounded Golden Dragón F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
