In the 9th minute, Rius Mascaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Remigio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermann Hesse having to make a save. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Remigio in the 12th minute of play. If Godofredo Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse got control of the ball when Godofredo Remigio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Uxio was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Racing Club's Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz to a score. 1-0 in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Remigio in the 33rd minute of the match. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Remigio in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Godofredo Remigio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Remigio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club made a substitution. Fermin Hibai replaced Julian Tejerina. Racing Club's Fernandinho Rivera was substituted for Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Gaizkine Ibern. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Torbjørn Trondsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Orwel in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, George Orwel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermann Hesse. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Orwel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Erruki Velarroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Olavo Henriques made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Olly Morgan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olavo Henriques, 4-1. Hermann Hesse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Orwel's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Fermin Hibai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Hesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Uxio took the corner. Torbjørn Trondsen took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
