Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Waldir Cearense got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A hard shot by Christiano Freitas from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Netto having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Penha in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Tamboril got a freekick which was hit by Loïc Duprey. Germano Penha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Germano Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Germano Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Frank Netto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Cearense in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Tamboril booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Nilton Neiva hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cristian Teles hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Salgado during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when Tamboril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Franklin Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tamboril's Christiano Freitas got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Netto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
