After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Zenaido Aramoyana got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Maurilio Duque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dantel Ayllon. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Cox might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurilio Duque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kyle Cox ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 35th minute of play. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Czeslaw Dejo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Soccer's protests and gave Czeslaw Dejo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Kyle Cox made a precise shot to the right of Maurilio Duque. Nova Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donat Collier to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurilio Duque made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Issac Dawson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dantel Ayllon in the 54th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurilio Duque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, England's Issac Dawson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Caelan Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurilio Duque having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as England's Micah Macdonald slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurilio Duque. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. After 66 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Piero Quispe. In the 68th minute, Issac Dawson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Donat Collier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Donat Collier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 83 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Issac Dawson. 84 minutes into the match, Dantel Ayllon notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Eusko Zubicoeta got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of England booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kismi Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Leighton Davies from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Maurilio Duque's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Soccer's zone, Issac Dawson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal and Issac Dawson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
