Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lesli Sepúlveda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lesli Sepúlveda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Black Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Hedkvist. Lesli Sepúlveda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 50 played minutes Black Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Stor Katt. After having played for 51 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesli Sepúlveda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Black Panthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Finnman to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lesli Sepúlveda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Panthers throughout the match.
