The crowd rose to their feet as Hasan Hüseyin Taycan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 20 minutes, Hasan Hüseyin Taycan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aloísio Lima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 25th playminute. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Hasan Hüseyin Taycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Hüseyin Taycan in the 46th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of OldHighburyInvincibles booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hasan Hüseyin Taycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, OldHighburyInvincibles's Hasan Hüseyin Taycan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 55 played minutes OldHighburyInvincibles got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Hüseyin Taycan. After 60 minutes, Frank Di Cristofaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OldHighburyInvincibles and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Di Cristofaro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Taycan in the 63rd minute of the match. Hasan Hüseyin Taycan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Hüseyin Taycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Taycan in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Hasan Hüseyin Taycan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Taycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Hüseyin Taycan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Feliks Sikola in the 92 minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Hasan Hüseyin Taycan made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the OldHighburyInvincibles players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
