In the 43rd minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Paulin Sequeiros. Vanadio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Paulin Sequeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Bekir Çağan replaced Leizarraga Olmedo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulin Sequeiros having to make a save. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Giraldo Bermudez, made in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Sequeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vanadio F.C.'s Paulin Sequeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Vanadio F.C. from getting a goal against them. Paulin Sequeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
