Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Themos Leontiadis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 2-0 after 6 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alketas Bourouselos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 minutes of play, Panionios MK's Themos Leontiadis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Corrigan. In the 15th play minute Themos Leontiadis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilson Amorim. 4-0. After 17 minutes, Viriato Moura made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Caetano Moreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alketas Bourouselos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caetano Moreira took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alketas Bourouselos. Alketas Bourouselos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Allan Corrigan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Almeida made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Faustino Almeida however managed to control. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Themos Leontiadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Themos Leontiadis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Bruno Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panionios MK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Bruno Bastos got a free kick in the 47th minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 56th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Alketas Bourouselos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 63 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Alketas Bourouselos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alketas Bourouselos. Panionios MK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-4. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fanis Salepis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipinho Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alketas Bourouselos. That made the score 5-5 in the 80 minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Felipinho Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipinho Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alketas Bourouselos came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 5-6 in the 85th minute. After 88 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Andrade. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 97th minute of play forced Panionios MK's goalkeeper Alketas Bourouselos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Panionios MK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portugal's performance. The match ended with a win for Portugal.
