Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Themos Leontiadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 9th minute. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos did a great save. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alketas Bourouselos, 1-1. With a little luck, Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Themos Leontiadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panionios MK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of the match. Alketas Bourouselos was a little too slow when Zaccheo Andolina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-2. 40 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alketas Bourouselos. Zaccheo Andolina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Corrigan was the one to do the kick off. Alketas Bourouselos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Corrigan in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos. Alketas Bourouselos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Themos Leontiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 82nd minute of play. Italy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Themos Leontiadis 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-3. Italy made a substitution. If Themos Leontiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
