Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Severo Bermudo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Severo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Uriel Santiago got a free kick in the 11th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mano Hume read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 29th minute of play. If Anier Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Severo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mano Hume had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Sigfrido Auletta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Italy's Sigfrido Auletta after 44 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Severo Bermudo sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 59th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Fermin Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
