Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Micah Macdonald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Hagström. Micah Macdonald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Micah Macdonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Hagström having to make a save. The supporters of England booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Rank 1 from getting a goal against them. Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Åhman. After having played for 18 minutes, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micah Macdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of England booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Söderqwist in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dick Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Beckman in the 34th minute of the match. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Macdonald in the 39th minute. Micah Macdonald made a great header on England's corner, it was just that Rank 1's Marcus Hagström managed to reach the ball for a save. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Cox made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match England got a corner. Rank 1's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Micah Macdonald got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Hagström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Cox to maneuver through the defense. John Lövkvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hagström having to interfere. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Gösta Beckman tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. John Lövkvist hit a great ball. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hagström having to interfere. John Lövkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Micah Macdonald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Hagström. Rank 1's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, John Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyle Cox blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Hagström having to make a save. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hagström having to interfere. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcus Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
