Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Galvão in the 3rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fonso Zotillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Severino Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Severino Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Montoia in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Yuri Tasso hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Stein in the 28th minute of the match. Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Fábio Montoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Montoia in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Fábio Montoia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Montoia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Galvão in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Valdir Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Valdir Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Yuri Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XV de Piracicaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After 65 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Tasso. After 70 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. 71 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Montoia came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Valdir Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Valdir Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Severino Capixaba notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonçalo Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense.
