Geovânio Proença was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Sporting DoutroMundo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafim Eanes should have stopped the shot. The coaching staff of Sporting DoutroMundo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reginaldo Lopes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Reginaldo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durval Fantini made a kick off. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Fantini in the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Eanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Ademar Seixas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting DoutroMundo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
