The supporters of Netherlands booed when Floodish FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willie McLeay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jake Enrick went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Wim Wilmes rounded Floodish FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Keith Scotland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paddy McNeish in the 70th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Mathie hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Keith Scotland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
