Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Wojtyna having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, FC Brzesko City's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Arkadiusz Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tanek Wojtyna was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Brzesko City through an amazing save. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Zbyszko Kajder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Kajder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tanek Wojtyna firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zbyszko Kajder took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The crowd rose to their feet as Arkadiusz Kajder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-5 in the 54 minute of play. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Arkadiusz Kajder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arkadiusz Kajder really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszko Kajder got free with Arnout Reekers in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC Brzesko City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Wojtyna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tanek Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Brzesko City's Leon Sierocki was substituted for Jan Domaracki. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Wojtyna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after FC Brzesko City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Brzesko City's goalie and right to Gust Ennemans. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Brzesko City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Netherlands supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Brzesko City's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Brzesko City.
