The supporters of Sporting DoutroMundo booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Sporting DoutroMundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontoura to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 7th minute, Durval Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting DoutroMundo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Aprígio Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aprígio Vasques's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Aprígio Vasques struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting DoutroMundo. 14 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aprígio Vasques. In the 20th match minute, Sporting DoutroMundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontoura to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Fantini got free with Tommy Kahn in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aprígio Vasques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aprígio Vasques took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. 4-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Durval Fantini elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Durval Fantini scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim Eanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Fantini went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Geovânio Proença scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute Durval Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aprígio Vasques scored 8-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Vasques came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 67th minute. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Fontoura in the 77 minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Aprígio Vasques made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Serafim Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Geovânio Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Aprígio Vasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting DoutroMundo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
