The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nigel Need was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Freek Lange in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denmark had played much better football throughout.
