After 2 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Sjors Breugel. 3 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rezek came free, but Nigel Need reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nigel Need took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Rezek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Danny Eising had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freek Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. The supporters of SV Wissenkerke booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Rezek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alan Rezek came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Rezek couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Danny Eising capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danny Eising really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 30th minute, Denis Dostal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Eising, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 90th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Rezek to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Mirko Boezem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mirko Boezem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
