Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in RÖK's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Montenegro came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Omar Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Montenegro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 19 minutes, Omar Toledo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. RÖK's Carlos Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, RÖK's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Carlos Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Marcinho Brasil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save. 40 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when David Chucho came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RÖK's Jarrett Hogan got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with Carlos Montenegro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Spain fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Spain's Omar Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Carlos Montenegro made a huge save. RÖK's Carlos Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save RÖK from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, RÖK's goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Carlos Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Errapel in the 68th minute of the match. If Marcinho Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on RÖK's corner Anselmo Mandrak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Ascaso quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tjark Heerdt in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tjark Heerdt in the 94th minute of play. A hard shot 96 in the game by Carles Cherro from a close distance when the talented Carlos Montenegro managed to make a qualified save. RÖK's players were relieved. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
