The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Ecija in the 20th minute of the match. FORZA BRESCIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Mudarra in the 22nd minute. A collision led to FORZA BRESCIA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Misael Solera hit a great ball. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Garcia. Donato Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Adalberto Ecija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Ecija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FORZA BRESCIA's Misael Solera got a free kick in the 51st minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 61st minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertin Gandia in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Mudarra was slow to take the kick. During this time FORZA BRESCIA's players had a chance to rest. Xorxe Perpiñán was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Caetano Mudarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORZA BRESCIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Mudarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geremia Garate, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, FORZA BRESCIA's Caetano Mudarra got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Bertin Gandia came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Bertin Gandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FORZA BRESCIA were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
