Seleykos Sklavenitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 17 minutes into the match, Robert Chapuis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis. Unione Sportiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Chapuis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 20 minutes into the match, Unione Sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Seleykos Sklavenitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. Seleykos Sklavenitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remy Dupuy went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. David Barbier took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seleykos Sklavenitis. Seleykos Sklavenitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. In the 87th minute, Henry Robiquet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seleykos Sklavenitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Seleykos Sklavenitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis. Seleykos Sklavenitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that France were the better team. France's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
