An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 41st minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Fabricio Andrade managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Azevedo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Espigão Steamrollers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Patrone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiran Centrih in the 78th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Pablo Patrone made a huge save. In the 80th minute Tarcisio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 82 in the game by Felipinho Amorim from a close distance when the talented Pablo Patrone managed to make a qualified save. Espigão Steamrollers's players were relieved. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espigão Steamrollers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
